SM has announced that it has started a new Point to Point (P2P) bus route covering the company’s biggest Metro Manila malls.
The said route will be available at the following locations:
- SM Mall of Asia (Bus Bay)
- to SM Megamall (Bus Bay)
- to SM City North EDSA (Bus Bay)
The route seems to be a northbound route, though we expect SM to cover the southbound route as well, with the Megamall point being the Ortigas BRT dropoff area due to the current bus lane setup.
The company also touts safety precautions done for passenger seatings, including three-column distanced seats with acrylic barriers.
SM will be offering this P2P route for free to all passengers until August 2 as a test run, where it will gauge public interest before formally launching later next month with appropriate fees. The company is also hinting that they are planning to launch more SM-centered routes such as those going to SM SouthMall in Las Piñas and SM Aura Premier in Taguig.
