ASUS ROG officially unveils their newest gaming phone, the ASUS ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro, at this weekend’s CONQUEST gaming expo. Here’s what you need to know about these phones including their specs, features, and price below.
These new gaming phones feature 165Hz refresh rate displays, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, and 6000mAh battery capacity with 65-watt fast charging.
ASUS touts redesigned exclusive software to make your mobile gaming experience better including a revamped Cyberpunk-inspired Armory Crate app, and a redesigned Game Genie that lets you block notifications. There’s also an Edge Tool where you can load apps without leaving your game. The updated X-Haptic vibration system allows you to be more immersive with the games you play on the 6.
They also redesigned the thermals, including a larger vapor chamber cooling system (30% larger compared to the ROG Phone 5), plus a thermal compound with Boron Nitrate. The AeroActive Cooler 6 also aids in cooling your phone with three different modes that you can choose depending on how heavy you’re using it. The new formulation accounts for up to 200% better thermals than other gaming phones.
The new phones are also IPX4 splash-resistant phones, making them the first gaming phones to do so. This also still features side-mounted ports with support for HDMI output.
Two models are launched with the new series, with differences mainly in the back design and hardware configurations. The ROG Phone 6 base model offers up to 16GB of RAM and an RGB-lighted ROG logo.

The ROG Phone 6 Pro, on the other hand, has a second display at the back. It’s a colored dot-matrix LED design we initially saw with ASUS ROG laptops that can be customizable either through a number of presets, or customizable text.

The ASUS ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro will be available in the Philippines starting in September with these price points: PHP 47,995 (12GB+256GB) and PHP 54,995 (16GB+512GB) for the ROG Phone 6, while the Pro version (whopping 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will be in stores for PHP 64,995. Users who pre-order starting today until August 31 will get a free ASUS ROG AeroActive 6 as a freebie, while those who will pre-order during this weekend’s CONQUEST gaming convention (July 23-24 only) will have additional loot including ROG cap, ROG Playing Cards, and ROG Facemask.
