Xiaomi has revealed that the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro are coming to the Philippines, bringing the brand’s latest premium smartphone lineup to local consumers.
While Xiaomi has yet to fully detail the devices for the Philippine market, early information already gives a clearer picture of what buyers can expect, from flagship-level hardware to launch offers for early adopters.
Why it Matters: Xiaomi’s T-series has long served as the brand’s bridge between upper midrange and flagship smartphones, giving buyers access to premium features at lower prices than its top-tier numbered flagships. The arrival of the Xiaomi 17T series adds fresh competition in the premium smartphone segment in the Philippines.
Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro Phone Specs
The Xiaomi 17T is expected to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is rumored to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor paired with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
For photography, the phone is expected to carry a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. A 32MP selfie camera is also expected.
Battery may be one of the standout upgrades, with the Xiaomi 17T tipped to pack a 6,500mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro is expected to offer more premium hardware, starting with a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a faster 144Hz refresh rate. It is rumored to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor.
Camera hardware may include a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP Leica-backed periscope telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultrawide shooter. The 32MP front camera is also expected to support 4K video recording.
Battery capacity could go even bigger at 7,000mAh, paired with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro Prices and Pre-order Information in the Philippines
We’ve roamed around malls and checked online for the past few days. Blind pre-orders for these new devices are now underway at Xiaomi Authorized stores and dealers nationwide, and we’ve identified the prices based on information we acquired and from online listings.
The Xiaomi 17T will be offered in two memory configurations for the Philippine market. The 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at PHP 33,999, while the 12GB + 512GB model will retail for PHP 36,999. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is priced at PHP 48,999 for the 12GB + 512GB configuration.
Customers who pre-order the phones can get an additional PHP 2,000 discount when they claim the device during the general sale weekend on June 18-19.
Xiaomi is also bundling several freebies for pre-order customers, including a Redmi Watch 6 worth PHP 5,499, a Xiaomi backpack, and a Xiaomi VIP card for an additional one-year warranty – all for pre-orders until June 18.
There will also be trade-in offers of up to PHP 6,000 in value for the 17T series. The phones will be available to the general public in the Philippines starting June 19. It will also be available for 0% installment via major credit cards and Home Credit as well.
