Hopetrek, the energy storage brand under Uniview, has officially entered the Philippine market with a new smart home ecosystem focused on energy management, safety, and connected living.

The launch took place in Manila, where the company introduced its “Smart & Safe Home” solution aimed at Filipino households and businesses dealing with rising electricity costs and unstable power conditions.
Why it Matters: The Philippine market continues to face challenges around electricity pricing, grid stability, and home security. A platform that combines power backup, solar optimization, and smart home protection into one system could appeal to homeowners looking for a more centralized solution instead of managing multiple disconnected products.
The company is positioning its local debut around a practical use case rather than standalone hardware. Instead of offering separate products for energy storage, solar integration, EV charging, and home security, Hopetrek says its system combines these into a single AI-driven platform designed for modern homes.
As smart home adoption continues to grow in the Philippines, reliability remains a major concern for many consumers, especially in areas that experience brownouts or voltage fluctuations. Hopetrek appears to be targeting that specific pain point with a system built around backup power, automation, and energy savings.

At the center of the launch is Hopetrek’s “LESS IS MORE” concept, which the company says focuses on simplifying everyday energy use while improving resilience.According to the brand, the system offers ultra-fast 4ms backup switching, which is intended to protect sensitive electronics and appliances during sudden power interruptions or voltage dips. It also supports optimized solar energy consumption to help reduce monthly electricity costs and is designed with a 170V to 290V voltage compatibility range to better handle unstable grid conditions.
Hopetrek says AI coordination ties the different components together, allowing the system to manage energy distribution, safety monitoring, and smart home functions through a unified ecosystem.
The company is also building a local installer and partner support network in the Philippines. This includes a dedicated installer empowerment program offering technical training, certification, marketing support, demo unit incentives, and local spare parts availability.

To support after-sales operations, Hopetrek says it is expanding its service capabilities with local teams and a 24-hour fast-response mechanism during working days to help partners manage deployments and maintenance.
Globally, the company says it operates in more than 200 countries and regions, supported by localized teams in 21 countries, five warehouses, and over 500 sales and marketing specialists. Hopetrek also claims significant investment in research and development, with six R&D centers and two institutes focused on innovation.

The broader vision for the Philippines includes integrating solar power, energy storage, EV charging, security systems, and AI-powered smart home controls into a single platform aimed at safer and more efficient living.
With more brands now entering the local smart energy and home automation space, will Filipino households be ready to adopt an all-in-one connected home ecosystem?
