Maya is set to launch new in-app features thus June, including new ways to save and a more consistent look across all parts of the app. Read on to learn more features about the app.
The eWallet app turned digital bank will add new features to their app this June, in a preview to Media and influencers in a small hAPPy Hour session at their office in Mandaluyong. Among those you’ll need to look out for are the following:
New Crypto coins to get
Maya will add five new crypto coins to its cryptocurrency feature, including popular digital coins Alogrand, Stellar, Avalanche, ApeCoin, and Dogecoin. The company also maintained that they are working to add more in the future so stay tuned.
A more streamlined, consistent brand and experience
When Maya launched in May, traces of the previous design is still prevalent in several parts including the profile sidebar and several sections. With the June update coming to your phones, expect a more streamlined experience coming onto your phones with the new design language being more pronounced and seamless wherever you go in-app.
Speaking of design language, Maya also collaborated with top photographer Shaira Luna to create an asset library for the brand, in a move to ditch common stock photos seen online and create a more defined branding design across their online platforms.
Personalized Savings is here
If you want to save up for a certain target such as a vacation or a new gadget, Maya will help you with its new Personal Goals feature. Once launched next month, users can set up to five goals which you can divide hard-earned savings into. All goals will still earn the 6% per annum interest promotion ran by the bank.
Finders, keepers
Maya started their relaunch this summer with a collaboration with Shanti Dope on his ‘Maya’ single and music video, and here’s how you can win big crypto bucks: codes are all around the music video totaling PHP 1 million, by means of putting the codes in the app to receive a prize. Good luck finding those!
Dance your way to big bucks
Maya will also launch a TikTok dance challenge next month where prizes will be at stake.
Other updates
Improvements to the app include a new cash-in option from Chinabank accounts, live chats with agents inside the app, increased PESONET transactions for up to PHP 300,000, and an improved account completion for iOS devices. Sending money via your username will also be coming soon.
The Maya team also announced that they will be showcasing monthly update briefers to give everyone an insight on new features and optimizations.
Maya is available to download at the Apple App store, the Google Play store, and the Huawei AppGallery.
