A new virtual reality entertainment venue is heading to Metro Manila, bringing large-scale free-roam VR experiences to local audiences for the first time. Zero Latency VR, together with Philippine partner Third Culture Entertainment, has confirmed that its first local branch will open at Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati by the end of July 2026.

Why it Matters: Virtual reality attractions have remained limited in the Philippines, with most experiences focused on small-scale arcade setups or seated simulations. Zero Latency VR’s entry introduces a larger free-roam multiplayer format that has already expanded across several countries, potentially opening a new category of location-based entertainment for Filipino consumers and group activities.
The upcoming venue will be located at the Cinema Lobby on Level 4 of the mall. It marks the Philippine debut of Zero Latency VR, a global operator known for location-based wireless VR gaming experiences designed for groups.
Unlike traditional VR setups that keep players in one place, Zero Latency VR allows up to six players to move freely inside a shared virtual arena while interacting in the same digital environment. The experience combines multiplayer gaming, immersive storytelling, and physical movement into 30-minute missions built around action and teamwork.
According to Third Culture Entertainment Founder and CEO Mikhail Schemm, the Makati launch has been in development for months as the company explores new entertainment formats in the country. The local group is also known for organizing Film Concerts PH.

At launch, the Makati branch will offer several proprietary Zero Latency VR experiences including Outbreak, Outbreak 2: Mall Mayhem, Haunted, and Undead Arena. These titles focus on cooperative gameplay and cinematic-style missions.
The venue will also feature licensed AAA gaming experiences such as Far Cry VR: Dive Into Insanity and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine VR – Defenders of Avarax. Upcoming titles including Jumanji and Cyberpunk 2077 are also expected to arrive later following their global rollout.

Zero Latency VR Makati will support group bookings and private events from day one. The venue is being positioned for birthdays, barkada gatherings, school trips, team-building activities, and corporate functions across Metro Manila. The facility can host two groups simultaneously, with up to six players per group.
Ticket prices and the exact opening date have yet to be announced, with more details expected in the coming weeks. Could large-scale free-roam VR become the next major entertainment trend in Metro Manila?
