LG Electronics (LG) will soon unveil its new Lifestyle TV lineup at CES 2022 where it highlights the versatility and stylish design at any use and environment of the new TVs. Spearheading the new TV lineup are the LG Objet TV (model 65Art90) and LG StanbyME (model 27Art10).
The LG Objet TV resembles a canvas and blends into any room thanks to its minimalist design with subtle use of neutral colors. The TV adapts to the users’ different needs with a press of a button on the included LG Remote by raising or lowering a fabric cover as the viewer sees fit. Lowering the cover reveals the full screen or and raising it partially covers the display for specific functions.
The interchangeable fabric cover is a product of Danish textile innovator, Kvadrat and is available in three colors – Kvadrat Beige, Kvadrat Redwood, Kvadrat Green.
The TV is designed to be positioned against a wall at a 5-degree angle or it can also be installed flush to the wall, which is the same with an art that is displayed in a gallery. And thanks to its in-cable frame system, connecting to external devices such as a cable set-top box or game console is easy while maintaining its clean design.
On the other hand, its Full View mode reveals the 65-inch OLED Evo panel powered by an advanced processor that offers vivid, accurate colors and exceptional contrast. In addition, when set to Line View, the TV can display Date & Clock, transform into an audio player in Music mode, or display a collection of exclusive space and nature-themed images when set to Gallery mode. It also boasts an 80W, 4.2-channel sound system that can deliver movie theater-like audio.
Meanwhile, the LG StanbyME is a one-of-a-kind entertainment center. It is a wireless private TV screen with a built-in battery that allows for three hours of viewing before recharging. The 27-inch screen, which can be swiveled, tilted, and rotated while in both landscape and portrait orientation, is attached to a moveable and height-adjustable stand with concealed wheels which allows it to be moved from room to room. Its size is ideal for watching movies, TV shows, video content, video conferencing, and online lectures.
It has control options such as remote, touch, and gesture recognition, with a user interface tailored to the viewer’s personal viewing experience. Design-wise, it has an understated, modern design that complements a wide variety of décors, with a rear cover clad in a textural fabric and finished in an exclusive Pure Beige color. When not being used as a TV, the LG StanbyME can display artworks, photos, or a calendar with a clock.
Moreover, it offers Mobile Screen Mirroring which works seamlessly with the latest Android and iOS smartphones via NFC. A removable cradle lets the viewer place a phone on top of the LG StanbyME to create a fast, secure solution for video calls, online classes, and streaming content. Users can also connect their laptops or PCs to StanbyME via a wired (USB, HDMI) or wireless connection.
