I’ve had the ASUS ZenBook for more than a month now, and it did really change the way I do my tasks at home. I’ve shared my review about it a few weeks back, but here are some of this laptop’s top features that you shouldn’t miss — that is if you aren’t convinced that this is the ultimate laptop for your productivity.
Two screens, one laptop
If one screen isn’t enough for you, how about two? This ASUS ZenBook features two displays for more multitasking estate. You can use them as a full display to show a single window, or place windows side by side to get your work done faster. If you’re using Adobe’s Creative Cloud applications, chances are there will be specific features that will appear in the ScreenXpert for easier workflow.
They’re touch-enabled, too
One thing I really liked is how this ZenBook Duo offers full-touch functionality, right on the display. The idea of swiping away windows to snap them into corners, minimize them, or transfer them to the secondary display is time-saving and very intuitive.
With the bundled ASUS Pen in the package, how can you not even love touch input more? We’ve had a lot of fun scribbling on the ScreenPad Plus – -the 12-inch display is just the right tool for responsive lines of sketch and scribbles. No need for an external drawing slate to hook up to your PC for this!
Powerful Performance
This laptop is no joke — the 11th-gen Intel Core i7 processor, in addition to the 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage — can let you work on what you want without having any issues with lags. As mentioned in my review, I was able to edit large files on Photoshop and Illustrator without any trouble and was able to do some light video editing on the side and render them quicker than my PC would have.
Rendering multimedia work is easier thanks to the NVIDIA GeForce MX450 with 2GB GDDR6 memory inside, which you can also use for light games. The laptop features the signature ErgoLift design here, which offers good airflow when you need to maximize its use.
Compact and Lighweight Design
Lastly, this laptop is so classy and it’s really light on the eyes. We’ve mentioned it over and over, but the design is such an ASUS classic. Despite all the features we’ve said, it’s light and compact to carry around. The ErgoLift also enables you to type more comfortably as it tilts the laptop upward for a better typing and navigating experience. The trademark concentric ring design and the shiny ASUS logo also give it a premium feel.
