Huawei launches its new line of flagship devices at the Huawei Flagship Product Launch 2022. This includes the new Mate Xs 2, Watch GT 3 Pro, Watch D, S-Tag, Band 7, and Watch Fit 2.
Huawei Mate Xs 2
Huawei’s newest flagship foldable smartphone, the Mate Xs 2 features the first 3D Fibreglass Design and uses the Falcon Wing Design. For its screen, a self-developed composite screen was used to absorb all shock and buffer, making it durable. Outside is a 7.8-inch True-Chroma foldable display with an Anti-Reflective Nano Optical layer. While on the inside is a Silicon-Based Anode battery that supports 66W Huawei SuperCharge.
Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro
The Huawei WATCH GT3 Pro is available in Titanium (46mm) and Ceramic (43mm) editions. It is equipped with ECG analysis and TruSeen 5.0+ data monitoring technology that allows for accurate heart measurement and blood oxygen monitoring. It is a certified Class ll medical device from China’s National Medical Products Administration that allows users to obtain an accurate record of ECG data in support of vascular health management, allowing users to actively prevent the risk of vascular diseases.
Meanwhile, a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466 x 466 resolution can be found up front. The watch uses a sapphire glass lens and a ceramic back case for more durability. While the skin-friendly materials allow for automatic detection of any temperature change.
The GT3 Pro also has a built-in dual-band five-system GNSS that features 5 satellite systems (GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS). While its outdoor sports functionalities were added with two new modes: freediving mode with up to 30 meters deep, and golf mode. Watch users also have access to 100+ workout modes and AI Running Coach.
Huawei Band 7
The band features the thinnest fitness tracker at less than 10mm in thickness and only weighs 16g. It is equipped with an AMOLED display with a screen-to-body ratio of 64.88% and 194 x 368 resolution. Users can also personalize their watch faces with different colors to match their outfits.
New watch faces modes include a default Always-on Display Watch Face; Moon Phase Watch Face that displays sunrise and sunset timings along with 8 moon phases and tidal change in real-time; as well as over 4,000 themes with matching colors.
Users can also use the built-in Huawei TruSeen 4.0 to track their heart rate continuously all thanks to the two 3-in-1 LEDs and one photodiode. In addition, with Huawei’s new running measurement system, Running Ability Index (RAI), users can evaluate their running ability objectively and find out their progress in real-time.
Huawei Watch Fit 2
Equipped with a 1.74-inch AMOLED HD FullView display, the Huawei Watch Fit 2 can display a 336 x 480 resolution with a screen-to-body ratio of 72.2%. The watch features a new chessboard launcher design and a Tap to Transfer feature that allows users to tap devices together to transfer files.
The Watch Fit 2 now comes with a speaker, in addition to the microphone. This now allows calls to get answered or hang up on the smartwatch via Bluetooth. With Harmony OS third-party-app support, WhatsApp users can also access quick reply message templates on the watch. Users can also play music directly on the smartwatch thanks to offline music playback, while the Huawei Assistant∙TODAY* can check the weather, flights, and other information on the smartwatch quickly.
Moreover, the Huawei Watch Fit 2 includes 97 workout modes and a built-in animated fitness coach for 7 selected modes.
Huawei Watch D
The HUAWEI WATCH D is the first wrist-type blood pressure monitoring device that provides accurate blood pressure measurement anytime and anywhere for hypertensive patients in just a 1/6 size and weight of a traditional blood pressure monitor. It uses a mini-pump that can reach to 40kPa to measure blood pressure up to 230mmHg. Aside from blood pressure monitoring, this also supports heart rate measurement as well as ECG.
In addition, it has multiple workout modes and other health monitoring functions such as Scientific sleep monitoring, all-day SpO2 monitoring, skin temperature detection, and stress monitoring. This is also equipped with 70+ workout modes and offers up to 7 days of use on a single charge.
Huawei Health App
With the Huawei Health app, users can create workouts with automatic reminders based on personal training days, exercise goals, and sleeping routines. Professional training courses such as badminton, diving, and futsal can also be accessed on the Huawei Health App’s Discover page. A music playlist for users to enjoy during the workout is also available.
Huawei is also introducing a new premium paid subscription service for health and fitness via the Huawei Health+.
Pricing and Availability
Starting from PHP 16,999, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro will be available for pre-order beginning May 20, 2022. While on the Huawei Store, Shopee, Lazada, authorized platforms, Huawei Experience Stores, and authorized retail stores will begin pre-orders starting May 27, 2022. Customers who will order before May 26 will receive a free Huawei FreeBuds 4i and HUAWEI Strap worth PHP 5,598.
On the other hand, the Huawei Watch Fit 2 will be available starting from PHP 6,499. This can be pre-ordered on the Huawei Store, Shopee, Lazada, authorized platforms, HUAWEI Experience Stores, and authorized retail stores beginning May 27, 2022. From May 27 to June 30 or until supplies last, the Watch Fit 2 also comes with a free HUAWEI Scale 3, worth PHP 1,399.
