Lenovo unveils the gaming-focused Legion Phone Duel smartphone

Comes with flagship hardware and quirky features!

Lenovo has forayed into gaming-focused phones through its Legion gaming brand, and the first to be unveiled is the Legion Phone Duel with flagship specs and quirky firsts.

Also called the Legion Phone Pro in China, it’s one of the first phones to put a selfie camera popping out from the side, with its 20MP selfie shooter revealing itself when needed. The phone also has two USB Type-C ports with support for a whopping 90W Turbo Power charging.

On the gaming side, it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip and features a base configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone also has dual vibration engines, multi-dimensional vibration control, and a customizable gaming key for faster playing toggle.

For continuous heavy gameplay, the brand equipped the phone with dual liquid cooling, as well as copper tubes for more efficient airflow and faster cooling. The phone’s display also has a whopping 144Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling for more fluid-like motion as well as more responsive in-game presses.

Aesthetics-wise, users can also show the colors they want in the Legion crest with the built-in customizable RGB lighting system. It will be sold in two different configurations in two colors, namely Vengeance Red and Blazing Blue.

The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel is expected to be available starting this July in China, while it will arrive later in select markets in the Asia Pacific, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and Latin America. Pricing is yet to be revealed.
