Your phone has to keep up without demanding too much in return in a fast-paced world. That’s where Samsung’s Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G, and A26 5G come in—designed to quietly support the pace of everyday life with better battery, brighter screens, and new AI-powered tools that feel natural to use. Whether you’re juggling errands, editing photos on the go, or simply staying connected, these phones aim to do more without making things complicated.

Why it matters: Rather than launching something new, Samsung’s latest move is about extending practical features—like long battery life, AI image tools, and display visibility outdoors—to more users. It reflects a shift in focus: not just big specs, but subtle improvements for everyday moments.
The three phones share a familiar foundation: large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screens with up to 1200 nits brightness for clearer viewing in sunlight, 5,000mAh batteries that last up to 17 hours, and IP67 water and dust resistance for extra peace of mind. These are the kind of details that come in handy when you’re outdoors, commuting, or on back-to-back video calls.
Performance also gets a meaningful lift. The Galaxy A56 5G runs on the Exynos 1480, while the A36 5G gets the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. Both come with upgraded vapor chambers for better cooling during gaming or multitasking. The A26 5G uses the Exynos 1380, giving it enough muscle for casual streaming and everyday use.
AI tools come standard too—Samsung calls it “Awesome Intelligence.” One of the more practical additions is Circle to Search with Google, letting users simply circle anything on screen to find it online. There’s also a more streamlined approach to photo editing with features like Edit Suggestions, Create Filter, and Object Eraser. For quick touch-ups, Photo Remaster helps enhance shots with one tap, while Best Face on the A56 5G lets users pick the most flattering expression from a motion photo.
Camera setups vary slightly, but all include a 50MP main shooter. The A56 5G adds a 12MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro lens, while the A36 5G uses a 5MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro. The A26 5G sticks to a simpler setup with depth and macro sensors. Selfie shooters on the A56 and A36 5G support 10-bit HDR video, giving more detail in mixed lighting.
In terms of longevity, all three models promise six years of security updates and six generations of OS upgrades, making them safer bets for those who prefer holding onto their phones longer.
For those planning a mid-year phone refresh, the A56 5G starts at PHP 23,990 (8GB+128GB), while the A36 5G starts at PHP 19,990 (8GB+128GB). Both come with e-voucher deals and discounts on Galaxy Buds and Watches. The A26 5G, the more affordable option, starts at PHP 15,990 (6GB+128GB) with a free travel adapter. These offers are available via Samsung’s website, dealers, and online stores until June 30, 2025.
What kind of mobile experience are you looking for this year—more power, more style, or just something that works without a fuss?
