realme’s new devices keep on rolling in, this time it’s the entry-level realme C21Y that we have spotted and is now sold locally. Jam Online spotted the phone name registered at the National Telecommunications Commission the other day, and here we have it in the local market listings.
Available in two colors, the C21y features a geometric design found on other C-series models. It features a 5,000mAh battery capacity, Dual SIM connectivity, and a triple rear camera setup led by a 13-megapixel module. We were able to check the specifications with them as follows:
realme C21Y specs:
- 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display, 720x1600px
- 1.8GHz Octa-core UNISOC Tiger T610
Mali G32 EE3 GPU - 4GB RAM
- 64GB internal storage
expandable via microSD up to 256GB - Triple rear AI cameras with LED Flash:
13MP
2MP depth
2MP macro - 8MP front camera
- 4G LTE, Dual SIM (nano)
- WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS
- 3.5mm audio jack,
- realme UI (Android 11)
- 5000mAh battery
- Colors: Blue, Black
This is said to be the first phone from the brand this year to run under Android 11 Go Edition, which is surprising considering that its internals can still bear to run decent a normal Android OS package. MemoXpress has updated its online listing, to which it noted that it offers a UNISOC SOC and a 5000mAh battery capacity.
Nonetheless, we spotted the listing on sale at MemoXpress, one of the leading gadget retailers in the Philippines, with a PHP 6,490 price tag.
