Globe promotes eSIM as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional SIM cards

One SIM, one number, multiple devices.

Globe Telecom (Globe) encourages its customers to support sustainable living, reduce carbon emissions, and reverse environmental damage through the use of eSIM. Globe was the first company to offer the eSIM technology way back in 2018 as an alternative to traditional SIM cards.

eSIM is a digital SIM embedded on certain smartphones and mobile devices that allows users to manage multiple profiles using different mobile numbers in one device and switch between lines depending on their needs. It also allows for other devices such as smartwatches to be connected to just a single mobile number. The Apple Watch cellular model, for example, can work independently and does not need to be connected to an iPhone to make or receive phone calls or messages.

To avail of a Globe eSIM, Postpaid customers can simply request at any Globe Store nationwide.
