TechLife has expanded its tablet lineup in the Philippines with the launch of the TechLife Pad Plus 2, a new large-screen device aimed at students, young professionals, and users looking for a portable entertainment and productivity companion.

Why it Matters: Affordable large-screen tablets remain a practical option for Filipinos who need a device for school, work, streaming, and casual gaming without stepping into premium pricing. The TechLife Pad Plus 2 positions itself in that segment with features focused on everyday use.
The device was officially introduced on May 21 through TechLife’s livestream launch event across its social media platforms, where the brand highlighted its focus on bigger-screen productivity, multitasking, and all-day use. The new model arrives as the latest addition to the Pad series, offering upgraded display size, LTE connectivity, and a large battery.
The TechLife Pad Plus 2 features a 12-inch 2K display, giving users a larger workspace for viewing documents, taking notes, switching between apps, and consuming media content. The bigger screen could appeal to users who prefer more room compared to compact tablets.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G100 processor, paired with a 9,000mAh battery designed for extended use. TechLife says the tablet supports 18W fast charging, allowing quicker top-ups between work or study sessions.
For connectivity, the tablet includes LTE support, allowing internet access outside Wi-Fi coverage. This makes it usable for remote classes, mobile work, messaging, and streaming while on the go.
Design-wise, the TechLife Pad Plus 2 comes in Storm Grey, Moonlight Silver, and Starlight Pink. The company is positioning the device as both a functional productivity tool and a portable entertainment machine.
The TechLife Pad Plus 2 is priced at PHP 14,999 in the Philippines. From May 21 to 27, buyers on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok can get up to PHP 3,300 in discounts through vouchers, bringing the effective price down to PHP 11,699. Online buyers will also receive a free keyboard case and a 3-in-1 stylus.
Offline buyers can pre-order the tablet at TechLife stores nationwide from May 21 to June 4 with PHP 1,000 off and a free keyboard case.
Is the TechLife Pad Plus 2 the practical big-screen tablet option many Filipino buyers have been waiting for?
