BenQ has introduced two new monitors aimed at Apple users, expanding its MA Series lineup with the launch of the MA270S and MA320UG in the Philippines.

The new displays are designed for Mac users who want a larger external screen for creative work, productivity, and multimedia tasks while keeping a visual experience that aligns closely with Apple devices.
Why it Matters: Mac users often look for external monitors that match Apple’s color output, design language, and workflow integration without stepping into significantly higher pricing. BenQ’s growing MA Series directly targets that demand.
Leading the new lineup is the BenQ MA270S, a 27-inch monitor with a 5K resolution of 5120 x 2880 and 218 pixels per inch. BenQ says the display is tuned for Mac color consistency, making it suitable for designers, editors, and users handling detail-sensitive visual work. It covers 99% of the P3 color gamut and carries a 2000:1 contrast ratio.

The MA320UG, meanwhile, is positioned for creators working with motion-heavy content. It combines 4K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals for video editing and multimedia work. The display covers 98% of the P3 color gamut and also carries a 2000:1 contrast ratio.
Both monitors support Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, allowing charging, fast data transfer, and daisy-chaining with compatible devices. BenQ has also included Smart KVM functionality, letting users switch between connected Mac devices using a single keyboard and mouse setup.
Other shared features include Nano Gloss panels and ergonomic adjustable stands for extended use.

BenQ also highlighted its existing MA Series models, including the MA270UP and MA320UP, which are already available in the Philippines. These models feature 4K IPS displays, 95% DCI-P3 color coverage, 90W USB-C power delivery, and support for BenQ’s Display Pilot 2 software for Mac-based controls and workflow management.
BenQ’s existing MA270UP and MA320UP are now available through its retail partners and online stores, priced at PHP 32,990 and PHP 38,990, respectively. Meanwhile, the newer MA270S and MA320UG are expected to launch in the Philippines within the month with price tags of PHP 62,990 and PHP 55,990, respectively.
Could these be the practical Mac-friendly alternatives for creators who want Apple-style display quality without going all-in on first-party options?
