VYBE by BPI expands cash-in access through M Lhuillier partnership

VYBE by BPI is expanding its cash-in network as the e-wallet platform partners with M Lhuillier to make digital financial services more accessible to Filipinos nationwide.

The new partnership allows VYBE users to cash in for free at more than 3,000 M Lhuillier branches across the country, giving users a wider physical network for funding their e-wallet accounts.

Why it Matters: While digital payments continue to grow in the Philippines, cash remains a major part of everyday transactions. Expanding cash-in access through familiar branch networks could help bring more users into digital finance.

Through the partnership, VYBE users can fund their accounts by visiting any participating M Lhuillier branch, filling out a Kwarta Padala form, submitting the desired cash-in amount, receiving a transaction receipt, and waiting for the funds to reflect in their e-wallet.

BPI said the move is part of its broader push toward financial inclusion, especially for Filipinos who may be taking their first steps into digital financial tools.

Beyond cash-in services, VYBE offers QR Ph payments, free fund transfers to other banks and e-wallets, rewards earning and redemption, and other digital financial services through its mobile app.

M Lhuillier said the partnership aligns with its goal of making essential services more accessible through its nationwide branch network, which has long served as a financial touchpoint for many Filipinos.

The collaboration reflects continued efforts by financial institutions and e-wallet providers to bridge traditional cash transactions with digital financial services.

Will wider cash-in access help encourage more Filipinos to shift from cash-first habits to digital payments?
