Sharp Highlights Air Purifier with Dehumidifier Lineup for Rainy Season

As the rainy season brings higher humidity and frequent rainfall across the Philippines, many households face common issues such as damp rooms, musty odors, mold growth, and clothes that take longer to dry indoors. To help address these concerns, Sharp Philippines is promoting its Air Purifier with Dehumidifier lineup as a solution for improving indoor comfort during wet weather.

The company’s range combines three functions in a single appliance: air purification, dehumidification, and laundry drying. Sharp says the products are designed to help manage indoor moisture levels while maintaining cleaner air inside homes.

Leading the lineup is the Sharp DW-J27FP-S, which offers air purification coverage of up to 32 square meters and a dehumidifying capacity of up to 27 liters per day. The lineup also includes the Sharp DW-E16FP-W, designed for spaces up to 24 square meters and capable of removing up to 16 liters of moisture per day.

Both models feature Sharp’s Plasmacluster Ion Technology, which releases positive and negative ions intended to help reduce airborne mold, viruses, and allergens. The units are also equipped with a HEPA filter, deodorizing filter, and pre-filter to help capture dust, pollen, pet dander, and odors.

Aside from managing humidity and air quality, the appliances include a Laundry Drying function designed to help clothes dry faster indoors. The feature uses strong airflow to assist with drying garments during periods of limited sunlight and prolonged rainfall.

Sharp says the combination of air purification, dehumidification, and laundry drying functions allows homeowners to address multiple household concerns with a single appliance while conserving space.
