It’s been teased recently, and is now leaked: A now-deleted post at Cherry Mobile‘s official community revealed two other phones that will be included in the local brand’s Aqua series of phones.
The Aqua S9 and S9 Lite offer bang-for-the-buck hardware at under PHP 4,000 — big-battery phones, multiple-rear camera setups, 4G LTE connectivity, and Dual SIM slots with option for expandable storage with a microSD slot.
The Cherry Mobile Aqua S9 offers a 5000mAh nonremovable battery, a quad-rear camera setup, and a 6.5-inch HD+ notched display.

Meanwhile, the Cherry Mobile Aqua S9 Lite is not far off with minor bumps to its hardware, with a dual-rear camera setup and a 4000mAh battery capacity. There’s also a fingerprint sensor at the back part and comes in three colors.

The chips used in these phones, the UNISOC SC9863A, is comparable to many entry-level chips from other makers in terms of benchmark scores, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 and the MediaTek Helio A20.
As per the now-deleted post in the Cherry Mobile community, the Cherry Mobile Aqua S9 and S9 Lite will be available these month with PHP 3,999 and PHP 3,499 price tags, respectively.
