Looking for a smartphone that seamlessly combines performance, style, and affordability? The Realme 11 Pro might be your answer. With its sleek design, vibrant display, and powerful performance, this budget-friendly device is set to make waves in the local smartphone market. Here’s our quick first look.
We got the following from the box we received from realme Philippines: some documents and a clear TPU case, a SIM ejector tool, the phone itself wrapped in translucent plastic, a 67-watt SUPERVOOC charger, and the USB-C charging and data cable.
The Realme 11 Pro’s design immediately catches the eye with its modern aesthetic and premium build. Crafted with attention to detail, the phone’s sleek contours and choice of materials give it a high-end feel.
Our unit is in a Sunrise Beige colorway, with the design co-created with former Gucci Prints and Textile Designer Matteo Menoto, who took inspiration from his birth city of Milan — the camera module modeled after the rising sun in the middle of the city’s buildings.
The line in the middle is made with a 3D Couture Level Seam that took inspiration from the city roads stretching into the distance. The rest of the back of the phone makes use of Premium Lychee Vegan Leather and the phone’s design itself is one of the first to use an Industry-First 3D Woven Texture that is reminiscent of those used on high-class fashionable clothing.
Such are the differences with the Pro compared to its predecessor this time. It now offers seamless edges, curves all around, and a dual-curved design at the front — a departure from the boxy look of the realme 10 Pro that we also have at hand, giving it a more premium look.
The edges changed the placements of realme’s usual ports, with the SIM card slot, the microphone, the Type-C port, and a bottom-firing loudspeaker now at the bottom.
The power/lock button and the volume keys are all on the right, while the top part has an upward-firing loudspeaker and a microphone for noise cancellation.
The front offers a dual-curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, over 1 billion colors, and surprisingly a 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for a more flicker-free experience. The phone was awarded a TÜV Rheinland Certification for Low Blue Light and Flicker Free Certification for these specifications.
realme used a 100-megapixel Omnivision camera on the 11 Pro, which is said to offer up to 2x lossless zoom with three updated camera imaging algorithms technologies the company uses in their system. Here are some sample shots first taken upon unboxing the device:
The realme 11 Pro features Android 13 with realme’s own UI version 4.0, a 5000mAh battery capacity, and 67 watts of fast charging. We’re taking the device for a spin as we use it for more tests to create a full review.
