Infinix has officially unveiled the Infinix GT 50 Pro, positioning it as the centerpiece of its expanding New GT Ecosystem. The device focuses on gaming performance by combining hardware, cooling, and software into a unified system. Instead of a typical year-to-year upgrade, the Infinix GT 50 Pro introduces a more integrated approach aimed at improving sustained performance and responsiveness during extended gaming sessions.

Why it Matters: Mobile gaming continues to push smartphone hardware to its limits, especially in competitive titles where frame stability and responsiveness directly affect gameplay. A device that can sustain high performance without overheating or throttling addresses a common issue for gamers, particularly in markets like the Philippines, where mobile esports is growing.
At the core of the Infinix GT 50 Pro is a new design direction built around three areas: physical controls, thermal management, and software optimization. These are intended to reduce performance drops, improve control precision, and maintain stability under heavy workloads.
The Infinix GT 50 Pro introduces what Infinix calls the HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture. This system uses a micro-pump liquid cooling setup designed to cover core heat sources and maintain stable temperatures during prolonged use. It includes a large 6437mm² cooling area and circulates coolant through precision channels to improve heat dissipation. An optional accessory, the GT Magcharge Cooler 2.0, adds wireless bypass charging that routes power directly to the chipset instead of the battery, helping reduce heat buildup and battery wear.

On the hardware side, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset built on a 4nm process, with clock speeds reaching up to 3.25GHz. Infinix claims an AnTuTu score of over 2.2 million, indicating a focus on high-end performance. This is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB.
The Infinix GT 50 Pro also introduces physical shoulder triggers, called GT Triggers, designed for gaming input. These support pressure-sensitive controls, customizable mappings, and low-latency input. Outside of gaming, they can also be used for shortcuts such as screenshots, app launches, and camera controls.
On the software side, the Infinix GT 50 Pro runs XOS 16 with several AI-assisted gaming features. These include AI Smart Trigger for automated actions, AI Frame Rescue Engine for smoother gameplay, and Hardcore Esports Mode, which reduces interruptions by blocking notifications and optimizing system performance. The device also supports native 144FPS gameplay in select titles such as Call of Duty Mobile, Mobile Legends, and Free Fire.
For display, the Infinix GT 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K panel with up to 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4500 nits. It also includes TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification and PWM dimming for reduced eye strain. Audio is handled through Dolby Atmos support, offering spatial sound for games and media.
Battery capacity on the Infinix GT 50 Pro goes up to 6500mAh, with support for 45W wired and 30W wireless charging. Reverse charging is also available for accessories. Connectivity is supported by an in-house N1 chip that aims to improve signal strength and reduce latency.
In terms of cameras, the Infinix GT 50 Pro includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS and EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 13MP front camera. AI RAW processing is used to enhance image quality and color accuracy.
