TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G with 8,000mAh battery now in the Philippines, priced

TECNO has brought the TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G to the Philippines, adding a new battery-focused contender to the midrange smartphone market.

The device combines a slim profile with a notably large battery, targeting users who need longer uptime for gaming, streaming, and daily mobile use. It also packs a curved AMOLED display, 5G connectivity, and several gaming-oriented features.

With the POVA Curve 2 5G, TECNO is taking aim at users who want extended battery life without carrying a noticeably bulky device.

The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 2364 x 1080 resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage for the Philippine variant. Users can also expand usable memory through TECNO’s virtual RAM feature.

For photography, the smartphone includes a 50-megapixel main rear camera paired with a 2-megapixel secondary camera, along with a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

TECNO is also highlighting signal performance through its G1 signal chip and SE1 Wi-Fi chip, which are designed to improve wireless connectivity.
